A cute little platformer - a game that rewards you for being inquisitive as you traverse your way throughout the map, trying to find all 55 collectibles!

Love the fact that you tie in one of your other games in this game as well!

thank you for making this amazing game, truly made my day.  <3<3<3

I love furball mode - it's so cute!  my time was 41.54 - I didn't realise I'd spent so much time on it!

love the game! itd be neat if you could figure out how to add a save feature :)

Interesting.  Progress should actually be saved automatically, but it looks like that isn't working on the itch.io site for some reason, probably something to do with how itch.io embeds/sandboxes the game.

I'll have to look into this, but in the meantime if you play the game at https://cocoamoss.com/nyamos-adventure/nyamos-adventure.html or https://ddrkirby.com/games/nyamos-adventure/nyamos-adventure.html the auto-save functionality should work.

Edit: So, this is due to the way that chrome/safari/etc block cross-domain access to indexeddb in conjunction with how itch.io hosts games in an iframe.  I'd need to implement an alternative saving mechanism in order to get this working on itch.io.

In the meantime there are two workarounds:

1) You can enable third-party cookies (in chrome this is called "allow all cookies".

2) You can play the game on cocoamoss.com or ddrkirby.com.

ahh okay!! thanks :)

id actually played it over again from the beginning and still loved it. great concept and execution- esp for a time limited project! i could definitely see this becoming a top notch smooth, satisfying game should you ever decide to come back and do more work on it. cant wait to see what else you make, bud

Something silly happened to me when I was playing this!

Be careful where you enter and exit each room!

I have a question does this game save progress

Never mind i found out the hard way

Actually, the game automatically saves your progress, but it looks like that is broken on the itch.io site despite working fine on both cocoamoss.com and ddrkirby.com.  I'll investigate this.

congrats on a v enjoyable game! Just one small point — I understand why you have the UI elements moving between the top of the screen and the bottom, but it's a little annoying, especially when you're moving through multiple vertically-stacked screens. I wonder if there's a better solution?

Fading the opacity of the UI elements, designing the levels in such a way that this isn't an issue, or simply increasing the height of the viewport so that the UI occupies a separate space.

  素晴らしいゲーム / Great game

Nice game, i love music.
I have stoped because i cant move after a death, i appear here

Thanks for the bug report!  This should be fixed now in version 1.1.1.  Thanks for playing :)

I found a bug, and I'm now softlocked. I'll attach a picture, basically I collected the egg on the bottom left, then died to the knives  on the way back and respawned at the top (where I entered the room from),  but I can't move or shapeshift anymore.

Edit: I lost the screenshot and I reloaded the page to log in to itch.io, so I can't take a new one. The bug happened in the door where you get the IV shape. After getting it you go left, then down, and it's in a room where there's an egg at the bottom left part, in a narrow hallway with knives coming out of the top.

Thanks for the report!  I'll be fixing respawn bugs in a few days hopefully!

This issue should now be fixed in v1.1.1

Awesome game! We included it in our latest video if you're interested to see!

Alright, I beat it now. It was so so so fun. Now to search for the last drop(?)...

Found it! It was the one in the green place (area with item 1) where you have to crouch in the 4-yeallow-block room. This game is really really fun. :)

Aww, fur ball mode is adorable!

Really fun, but I have to restart as I respawned stuck to the ground :(

Is there a way you can install this game? I really like it and would like to be able to install it.
