about to play this, just reading the comments with all the other pet owners and the ones that have experienced the loss of their beloved kitty and it resonates with me in particular too. I had a beautiful white cat just like meowmie who I have loved dearly for a very long time. I miss him everyday and lost him a short while ago. I'm hoping we can all heal and thank you to the creator of this game for creating something special to all of us.

Do NOT play if you have a white cat like i do. Please. I have to go hold my cat now. You cant just make this for a dare. the devs who had this idea deserve jailtime or something. it hurt. i dont want my spicie kitty to go. i dont want my misty to leave either. now i have to think about that. my therapist is about to go on mat leave and now im stuck with this.
This game had warnings if you didn't read. And being mean to the developers if you've experienced as much (or more) grief for Meowmie as I did, is not the right thing to do. I also was very sad about the ending and understand your concern. But the description HAD a warning about emotional content. I am so sorry. i am not trying to be mean to the dev, it was a beautiful and well made game which was good at bringing out the strong emotions and themes it was meant to bring out. I have also expirienced a lot of greif in my lifetime including multiple animals and humans. i didnt know that people were missreading my message. i cope a lot with humor. the science behind it is interesting, i took an anthropology course. my intention was to be humorus but also i was sad because of the games sad ending and wanted to highlight that aswell. im also autistic and despite having heightened emotions, its sometimes hard to predict the emotions of others.
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound mean either. The game is sad, scary, and great overall in my opinion. I will try to not be as mean. I am also very sorry.
Such a beautiful game. I lost my cat last week and it really does feel like all the colour drains from life and you no longer have your companion and safe place anymore. Really sad, well done, and thought provoking game. Goodnight, Meowmie.

I heavily agree with you, but I unfortunately didn't have an opportunity to own a cat and would love to. Thanks for being positive unlike some others.
